Due to business growth, we are currently recruiting for a Commercial plastics scrap Buyer with a proven track record within Recycling industry.

The successful candidate will be comfortable with winning new business and possess the skills to identify opportunities within the competitive plastics and cardboard recycling market.

The overall aim of the position is to procure quality material for the company's processing facilities and the customers.

Duties:

• - Winning contracts with a variety of businesses including manufacturers, retailers and a host of other organisations.
• - Managing existing contracts, ensuring clients are receiving the best possible service whilst maximising revenue and negotiating the best prices for material.
• - Identifying commercial opportunities through grading, pricing and negotiating for plastics materials.
• - Building & maintaining strong relationships with local and national Scrap Merchants and negotiating on prices.
• - Constant communication with the Operations team to ensure the smooth-running of the company's services & delivery.
• Only candidates with a stable, proven and successful commercial track record within the Recycling industry will be considered for this post.
